our tradition
Ka hānau ʻana o ka ʻekalesia
Our Congregational tradition introduced the Gospel to Hawai'i, and our kūpuna in faith established the first churches here. Later in Waipahu, Filipino and Japanese ancestors founded what would become Waipahu United Church of Christ.
We honor our heritage, and our special connection to Hawai'i nei.

We maintain our special connection through the Hawai'i Conference United Church of Christ (HCUCC), and the O'ahu Association.
Through Waipahu UCC's historic relationship with Ewa Community Church, we are vitally connected to the work of the Hawaiian churches.
beyond hawai'i
The United Church of Christ United States is our incorporating denomination. Because of our Partner Churches, and because Hawai'i is Pacifika, we are also connected with United Church of Christ conferences throughout the Pacific Rim, including Micronesia, The Philippines, and Samoa, just to name our closest associations.
